The upcoming Lenovo K8 Note comes with Android 7.1.1. Nougat will be the first to do that. “What we’ve done over the last 11 months is we looked at what we had from a software perspective. We were close to consumers, and we saw what they were asking for,” said Anuj Sharma, head of product marketing for Lenovo India, to Gadgets 360. “There was a certain trend, and we have decided to remove the Vibe Pure UI from our phones. So you now get the stock Android that consumers have been asking for.”
