iMac Pro price announced in India, Acer Predator 21 X gaming laptop launched. Apple has priced the iMac Pro model at Rs. 4.15,000 in India. This model comes with an 8-core Intel Xeon processor, 32 GB DDR4 ECC RAM, Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics card, and a 1 TB SSD. Other key iMac Pro features include a 27-inch Retina 5K (5120×2880 pixels), Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics card with 8GB of HBM2 memory, 1TB SSD, and 1080p FaceTime HD camera. For now, however, only this model has been announced for India, not the other variants.
However, Acer has surpassed the iMac Pro – at least in price – with the launch of its Predator 21 X laptop for Rs. 6.99.999. The new gaming laptop, weighing 8.5 kilograms, comes with a custom hard-shell trolley case. Acer’s latest Windows 10 laptop features a 21-inch full-HD ultra-wide curved display, a 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor, and two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI. As for system memory and storage, the Acer Predator 21 X comes with 64GB of DDR4-2400 RAM onboard and up to four 512GB solid-state drives (including two NVMe PCIe SSDs), a 1TB 7200RPM hard drive.

Patrick Moorhead of Moor Insights experienced a pre-production version of a Vivo smartphone with the Synaptics in-display fingerprint sensor, which he called “quick and easy.” All the user needs to do is place their thumb on an illuminated image at the bottom of the screen to unlock the handset. Synaptics claims this system is faster than 3D facial recognition technologies, such as Apple’s Face ID.
