Reliance Jio Prime customers who have not migrated to the Jio Summer Surprise or the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer will still get the 1GB data despite the Rs. 499 or Rs. 509 charging. Likewise, those that have charging values of Rs. 999 or later, which contains 100 GB of data for 84 days but no daily data limitations, will get 1 GB per day if not migrated by the system.
Gadgets 360 confirmed this with the Reliance Jio customer service team, who explained that this is happening to some users because the company’s system has yet to migrate them to their new plan (depending on the charge value). In addition, it did not yet have a timeline regarding when all users will be migrated to the new offerings. This issue can be a source of inconvenience to consumers who have purchased the Rs. 509 assuming they would get 2 GB of data per day but only get 1 GB. One of those customers told Gadgets 360 that they would receive text messages saying that the 1GB limit had been exhausted even though they had bought the Rs. 509 charging. However, the issue was automatically resolved and their MyJio account started showing 2GB of daily data allocation after a few days.

135 Million Aadhaar Numbers Publicly Available on Government Sites : CIS Report A report by The Center for Internet & Society (CIS) has shed light on personal Aadhaar numbers of millions of Indian citizens made public through four government portals. These sites have provided online access to Aadhaar data on nearly 135 million Indians for anyone to see and potentially misuse.
These include the National Social Assistance Programme, the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) of the Ministry of Rural Development, the Daily Online Payment Reports under NREGA and the Chandranna Bima Scheme of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. These websites provide public access to Aadhaar and financial information such as bank account details of affected users.
So, while the availability of aggregated information on the Dashboard can play a role in making government functioning more transparent, the fact that detailed details about individuals, including sensitive PII, such as Aadhaar number, caste, religion, address , photos and financial information just a few clicks away suggest how poorly conceived these initiatives have been,” notes the research paper.

9to5Mac reports that the analyst suggests the device will launch in June, but will go on sale sometime in the second half of the year. In his note, Kuo writes that Apple can no longer ignore AI, with the success of Amazon Echo, and that Amazon’s speaker is expected to surpass iPad models in 2018. the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. The device is expected to have seven tweeters and a subwoofer and will be positioned as a high-end device, with a much higher price tag than Amazon Echo.
In particular, Kuo notes that there’s about a 50 percent chance of announcing the Siri Speaker at WWDC, leaving room for Apple to change plans as time goes on. Apple has reportedly partnered with Inventec to produce this Siri speaker, as it has for its AirPods. The device, as mentioned, is powered by Siri and will perform tasks, answer questions and set reminders for you just like its competitors, but Apple could build in more features to set it apart from the others.

Both were last updated in April. “It’s unclear why the companies decided to remove support for their apps on the Apple Watch, or whether Apple played a role in their decision,” the report said.
DoT launches ‘Tarang Sanchar’ portal, which allows you to monitor the radiation emitted by mobile towers in your area. The Telecom department launched a portal on Tuesday that allows people to monitor the radiation emitted by mobile towers in a place and check whether they comply to the set standards. With the launch of the ‘Tarang Sanchar’ web portal, Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha hoped the site will help clear up “myths and misconceptions” about mobile towers and their emissions.
He said the portal will enable consumers to know at the click of a mouse which towers are operating in a given area and whether they meet the electromagnetic field (EMF) emission standards set by the government. The timing of the launch coincides with the recent SC order to deactivate a mobile tower in Gwalior at the request of a 42-year-old cancer patient.
The order had intensified the debate about the health impact of cell phone tower radiation. However, the government has maintained that India’s mobile tower emissions regulations are ten times stricter than global standards.
