The Honor 8 Pro (Review) smartphone was launched in India on Thursday. Honor is a Huawei brand, for those who don’t know, and this launch is significant because this smartphone competes with the OnePlus 5, which aims to be a flagship killer. If you look at the spec sheet of the Honor 8 Pro, it packs 6GB of RAM and a 4000mAh battery, meaning it certainly isn’t lacking in firepower. There is only one Honor 8 Pro variant in India, which is good news as far as we are concerned. It leads to less confusion for buyers, and if you are one of them, the only decision you have to make about this smartphone is whether you want the Navy Blue or Midnight Black variant.
In other news, the Honor Band 3 also launched in India on Thursday. Strangely enough, we don’t know the price of the Honor Band 3 yet. Honor has only revealed that the Honor Band 3 will be water resistant, have active heart rate monitoring, and be sold exclusively through Amazon India.
Here are all the other things that have made news in the world of technology today.

Nokia 8 will be the company’s flagship. The Nokia 8 is seen with a borderless design, apart from a USB Type-C port and dual speakers on the bottom of the smartphone. Another image also shows a unique thin vertical camera strip on the back of the smartphone on the left, which is not in line with previous rumors about the Nokia 8.

That’s nice to see, but we hope the smartphone is more than just a ‘limited launch’ this time.

As with all rumors and leaks, take this with a grain of salt, but the fingerprint scanner placement seems to be a concern if this is true.
